Meet the Team
Marie Monaghan
Marie is passionate about supporting communities to build a more sustainable future, with many years’ experience of working in the voluntary sector, finding the talents and skills within a community to make it a healthier, more sustainable place to live by nurturing relationships between stakeholders – communities, organisations and individuals – through a shared understanding and sense of commitment to achieving change.
Skilled in environmental awareness and education, fundraising, environmental consulting, stakeholder and community engagement, Marie has developed bespoke participative approaches to engaging communities, often those who are seldom heard, enabling them to make decisions and lead change in their own community.
Gary Thomas
Having worked for over 20 years in a number of public facing community settings, Gary has developed a hands-on practical approach to community engagement. Gaining management experience in probation, substance misuse, prison and education service has allowed Gary to lead on some innovative and progressive programmes in Lambeth, Southwark, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea which have led to changes in service delivery.
Gary has a proven track record of devising and delivering creative and bespoke programmes, implementing strategies, and building constructive and trusting relationships with diverse communities. Community development and co-production are at the core of Gary’s philosophy and underpin his interactions with the community.
